Helping The Mermaids Tell Time is a fun way for kids to learn how to read an Analog clock. This set is in Color which makes it super fun to help the mermaids! Great for Teachers or Parents that homeschool or just want to teach their children to read the clock.

These have been created for our children to learn how to read an Analog clock as most are able to read a Digital clock, but there is a need for them to be able to know what time an Analog clock reads also. Analog clocks are still in abundance in our society and used every day but the teaching of this has not really been pushed in schools or at home, mostly as digital has become a normal part of life and analog has been taken for granted.

It truly is not anyone’s fault, as it is mostly assumed by all that everybody knows how to read a clock since they have been around for so long. I personally have several analog and digital clocks in my own home but realized that my own children didn’t know how to read the analog clocks, so I started teaching them how to do this. Then when I realized this, I also realized I was not alone, so I decided to create these worksheets to help our younger generation learn for the future.

Answers are in the same order as the worksheets in a separate PDF in your download. The pages are not numbered as you may be printing only 1 or 2 of the worksheets at a time in random order so it is easier to see what page the worksheet is in its PDF and coincide with the page number in the Answer Sheet PFD. Best way to do this is decide which worksheet(s) you wish to use and print them out in the quantity you need and print the answer sheet for that same page(s) in the Answer sheets, so you have the answers to match those worksheets. These work very well in a classroom or at home for homeschoolers or parents just wanting to teach their own children how to tell time on an Analog clock.

I sincerely hope these do help you teach your students or children in this adventure, and I will be creating more worksheets in the future to continue this learning. Also, I am working to create worksheets on how to read 24-hour time also known as Military time. This is another much needed teaching as I myself have had to learn this way to read time.
