T shirt yarn is simply t shirts that have been repurposed into yarn, therefore keeping more things out of landfill.
This beautiful 3 layer necklace has been made by finger knitting an i-cord with 4 stitches.
The necklace has been knitted with 1 strand of T shirt yarn in a football print on white background. It has 3 layers which make a very unusual and unique piece that would make the perfect accessory to your casual outfit.
The T shirt yarn really makes the stitches stand out in this necklace.
Where I have had to add more yarn you will find some small knots and nubs, but these I think add to the overall rustic and unique look and feel of the piece.
The first loop of the necklace measures approximately 21″ around, the second loop approximately 28″ around, and the third loop approximately 33″ around. The loops have been joined together at the top with the same yarn wrapped around the join.
Washing instructions:
Machine wash cold on a gentle wash. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat at room temperature.
