This gorgeously designed set of 5 personalised bookmarks show your First Name in Chinese characters.
These translations are based on phonetics and consist of getting as close as possible to the accurate pronunciation of the name. This is done while choosing the most appropriate characters according to the sound, the origin and sometimes even the gender (of the original name).
How To Use Them:
Use these unique bookmarks to easily mark your place in your favourite novels without damaging the binding or pages. Keep them close to your favourite books and enjoy!
When you order, you’ll be able to give me the name you would like to be added in the space at the top of the order page. Your bookmarks will then be produced to order. Once you receive your bookmarks, simply print at home and cut out. These bookmarks make great last-minute gifts!
Bookmarks are available in 2 pages sizes, A4 and Letter (8.5” x11”) you will be able to choose the size when you place your order.
Details:
You’ll receive 5 beautiful bookmark designs. Each bookmark measures 4.5cm x 14cm / 1.7 inch x 5.5 inch (approx.). Your bookmarks are designed with cutting guides and a place to punch a hole through which you can tie some thin cord, ribbon or a tassel.
I would recommend printing at the highest quality on your printer, either Inkjet or Laser, and using a heavyweight paper or thin card (please see your printer documentation for details of the recommended maximum paper “weight”). The bookmarks are designed at a print resolution of 300 DPI which is needed for professional printing results. Alternatively, print on good quality paper or photo paper, then stick to card before cutting. Use a straight edge and a sharp craft knife or guillotine – if you have one – to make the cuts.
Although we do our best to make sure that the colours displayed are accurate, the actual colours may vary. Differences in monitors and the device you use to view the listing will result in subtle differences in colour and textures, as will the type of printer, paper and inks you use.
